That feels a bit off.

I have to say I was a bit surprised when the Reome Broth was in the Liberty AC this year.

When I was in Liberty back in May I went to hunt it down as it was something I was curious about. They've got the tiniest range and it was sort of stuck away in a dusty corner. I tried to find out about both the product and the price and it took two SA's to find out any information at all. They seemed a bit surprised it was a brand they stocked.

I ended up buying the pack of face masks in the end from HN where the SA did seem knowledgable about the brand. She gave me a load of sachets of the Broth which is why I didn't jump on the Liberty BAC for that one product.

I'm curious whether anyone has information about the HNAC and whether it's likely to come out this year. And, I will be in France at the start of September. Is this too early to pick up an AC there? If not, any suggestions?

I'm glad you posted this, I was just about to post the same thing. Mine came with a £5 price sticker too although the writing on mine is fine. That's a hell of a mark up if that's the case, why does it even need a price sticker as it's clearly for the calendar? Is that cost price? How much they account for as wastage? Rage bait? So many questions.

@ClutteredPalace 'rage bait' 😂definitely this!!! Am alternating between being outraged and laughing at my own gullibility for STILL wanting the calendar!!

I would contact them. Liberty CS has always been great for me and it is very strange and arguably I would question if it's old discounted stock. Do you remember which draw it is in so I can check mine please.

GlossyBox showing as £75 for me - how are people getting it for £70? Tbf, I don’t think it’s a patch on last year, but I am interested in the perfume, medik8 and blush.

@user626 and @ClutteredPalace - I think a polite but stiffly worded email to Liberty CS asking WTF? is in order. We know there is a huge mark up on many a/c items but that is just taking the proverbial!

I’d also contact REOME with the product code and ask them to confirm the date of manufacture.

I really don’t want the Liberty a/c now 😹

Interesting to discover that a high end advent like Liberty is including cheap old stock with leaky bottles!

Bit concerned about the leaky broth that so many have had, and makes you think that maybe we are being fobbed off with sub standard products. The companies who include these items must know that it's going to end up costing them (both in money and reputation)

Oh i quite like the look of this.

I've just messaged Liberty to ask if it's discounted stock or actually only worth £5 and pointed out that the 'worth' versus cost is a big draw for people when deciding on which calendar to buy. They have always been great with customer service so far so Im interested to find out how they answer this time.

I like the Elemis night cream. The uklash serum being on its own is a bit stingey 🤣 It hasn't lured me away from Harrods or CB but it's a nice mix. They usually put an eyeshadow palette in, I wonder if that's the surprise product.

Obviously I was meaning as well as Cult Beauty, not instead of....😂

@RainbowZebraWarrior thank you, he's going for 7am, I'm feeling very nervous now that's it's only the night before and I've bitten down my nails. I just hope he makes it through the operation.
