i have always wanted a spenny BAC and never take the plunge but after a rubbish year I’m doing it. Can’t decide between Harrods or Space NK. (I’ve seen a few people against space nk but I think it looks good).

HELP PLEASE. And whatever you do don’t add more lovely BAC to my list as I’ve narrowed it down 🤣

The fake lashes have ruled this one out for me. I don't use them, so it's basically just admin that I don't have time for if I get this. Same goes for eyelash curlers and Groan (sic) Alchemist. Might be one and done this year

My Yepoda calendar has just arrived! I haven’t opened it yet. I love the case, it’s seems a decent size I’ll probably use it to keep some of my skincare in.

I think for me I had to decide if I wanted high-end skincare more than the other beauty stuff. I always seem to run out of eye creams, so Harrods having three really good ones tipped the balance for me. I also like the idea of trying products I would never spend the huge RRP on. Space NK is arguably the more rounded calendar if you want a mix of skincare, makeup and haircare, and it has an amazing number of full sizes. I don't think you can really go wrong with either — it just comes down to whether you want the luxury skincare hit of Harrods or the broader mix and more current beauty brands in Space NK.

I still get the subscriber discount for all glossybox stuff nearly two years after cancelling the box. Not going to argue.

I’d probably be enticed to buy at £70 @viccabelle for my DD. I’m not getting any discount so not tempted at all for £92.99 delivered.

The reason a lot of us aren't thrilled with SpaceNK is because we've all had plenty of them and are a bit jaded and spoiled. I probably shouldn't speak for everyone but definitely me. I get harder to please over time.

If you've never had a big luxe advent then either Harrods or SpaceNK will be a huge treat and you'll really enjoy it. Work out what you'll use most. Harrods has a lot of eye creams, if you rarely use eye cream then maybe SpaceNK would be better.

The more reveals I see the more I'm happy with my decision to go for Harrods BAC. I like good skincare and I'm not fussed re make up although the lipticks colours in Harrods are ones I'll wear. I'll pick up the extra I'd like such as the Fugazzi and Killian perfumes, the Reome broth and the Trinny eye shadow from Liberty on Vinted. I did want for Jadvent but I'll wait and see if any are discounted enough to tempt me later in the year.

@viccabelle @OvaHere i think you have actually nailed it in one and why I couldn’t decide. I do want the mix of bits and bobs not just creams, which is why I think I’m leaning more towards space NK.

well, that was an easy decision 🤣 thank you gals. I still may have a moment of madness and try and get the elusive Harrods FOC, I signed up to the emails, but I think Space NK wins for me. Thank you!

Long time lurker here! Thanks so much to everyone for their inputs and knowledge! I found these threads last year along with the beauty ones and have really enjoyed them! Last year I was getting back into skincare/make up after a few years of just making do, so i ordered quite a few advents and gifted/sold anything that wouldn't work for me. I've gone for Harrods beauty and fragrance calendars this year, I've considered a few others but may try and pick bits up on Vinted, as in Cult Beauty there's only about 4 things I definitely want. I'm due baby no.2 in 8 weeks, so also don't know how much time I'll have to try different things or sell on what I don't want, so I'm trying to be stricter this year!

Just watched the CB unboxing. Last year, I wasn't sure about it, but it was an unboxing that swayed me. This time, less so. I'll probably buy the serums I want from Vinted.

I'll stick with SNK, at least I know I will use it all and be happy with it in December. I've fallen in love with the VB foundation drops, so perhaps I'll just get them alongside a GWP instead of another AC. I hope next time I'm not so hard to please🙈🤣
