Blasted vanity sizing. I cant now use my favourite shops. I. A bog standard size 10, 5 foot 5 and 9 stone.
I buy teashirts from Cotton Traders as they are good quality and last. I have always taken a small and its fitted fine. Not any more.
Bought some the other day in their smallest size xs and they are baggy. I like them to fit.
I bought a gorgeous cobalt cardigan from Seasalt this week in their smallest size..an 8 because that was the only size left in their sale. It swamps me.
Its ridiculous. Im not anorexic. Im perfectly normal.
There were some other clothes I had to send back from Sweaty Betty. A size 10 (small) again too big. I had to send it back for an 8.
Is anyone else finding this?
My old size 10s from a year or so ago fit fine.

Cotton Traders clothes have always been cut large in my experience.

There is no consistency at all, even within the same brand. I can be anything from a 6 to a 10. Go back 30-40 years and I was consistently a size 12, and the few items I have kept from those days still fit me.
