Can anyone help me find a cross-body bag I saw in Marbella?

I was in Marbella old town a few weeks ago and saw a lovely smallish bag with a long handle to be worn cross-body or to hang at hip level.

It was leather (or at least looked like leather and the price indicated it probably was real, but could easily have been fake leather as I didn’t have time to stick around and check) and had a kind of flap over the top in a brown/tan colour that made it look kind of like a mini longchamp pliage.

There were a variety of colours inc a lovely green and a yellow. It cost €69.

I couldn’t buy it at the time (time restraints with family and I don’t spend £60 on a bag on a whim) but have been regretting it ever since. I have tried googling to find something like it online, but cannot find anything remotely similar. I suspect it was a local maker/supplier. I cannot remember the name of the shop or the street it was on, other than it was one or two doors up from a wee jewellery shop (Cheap jewellery - my teens were in it), and it was on the left hand side as you walked up the street towards the heart of the old town, with the main road behind you.

People who are good at these things - is there any way to find it?!??

Can you remember any cafes / restaurant/ shop names when you was shopping OP? You could then type in eg "viva forever old marbella town" and try Google street view to find the shop name and see if you can find them online. A long shot I know. Hope you find it xx (edited for spelling)

@NellyNoMatesI reckon I’ve just seen exactly the same bag in Italy?? Came in lots of different colours, there was also a version with the little top handles like the longchamp one, all leather. Unfortunately there is no brand on it - just says made in Italy.

So invested here !!

Could it be this shop. I can't find a website but the photos of it on Google looks like they sell lots of colourful bags.

Yes! I think this is it! And yes - made in Italy sounds very familiar/likely. The style and colours just were so lovely, and it did seem like real leather, so the made in Italy thing would tie in with that.

I’ve looked at the pictures of Farina online, but unless they have changed the store layout since the streetview photos were taken (quite possible) then it’s not it.

I also found L’essentizial earlier and the shop next to it is one which was already mentioned upthread. The jewellery store looks likely, but not the store next to it.

urgh - you’re all being so lovely, but nothing seems quite right.

I do think the bag @shuffleofftobuffalo has posted is it, but don’t know how to find it or how to make sure if I bought one from somewhere online that it was real leather and not pleather

Ah OP I am glad you found your bag. I liked the funny comments about bags in Margate. Personally I get most of my bags in charity shops I think it has to be a case of when you see something you like buy it straight away.
