Crystal nail files.

For years the only one I had was my Leighton Denny one (that I've had since 2012!) I've since acquired some Orly ones and a Holo Taco one, none of which I like as much. They feel rougher and set my teeth on edge, which is disappointing. The Orly ones were freebies and the Holo one was part of a bundle, so at least they weren't a waste of money. At least I've got them in case my LD one ever breaks, and it means I've always got one handy if I need one.

The first one I bought in a hotel spa a good 15 years ago and it's "my precious". I won't take it out of my bedroom let alone out of the house. Never found another as good - if only I knew what make it was 🙁

I have a glass Leighton Denny one that's about 10 years old, I love it.

Could you post a picture and I'll see if I can identify it?

Got my Leighton Denny on a Jet2 flight to Majorca donkeys years ago and it lives next to my right hand on the dining room table.
I have another one that lives in my bedroom drawer that I think came from Super drug. It's OK but not as good.
My nails used to flake really badly if I used a traditional file on them but they have been really strong for years.

Marks & Spencer sell Leighton Denny crystal nail files in either sets or individually 😄

I'm another with a Leighton Denny crystal nail file, which must be 15 years old, at least. They are brilliant.

I also have an ancient Leighton Denny - I asked for it for Christmas as a teenager and my mum was horrified at how expensive it was for a nail file but is thriftily pleased now I'm still using it after about 15 years! Absolutely brilliant for the nails and appears to be indestructible!

Has to be a glass nail file. Has to be Leighton Denny. My original was from QVC which I broke being too careless. Tried to replace with a cheap glass nail file but it was rubbish. So I bought another (a mini this time) from M&S.

Leighton Denny does the holy grail of nail files. Expensive though!

DD loves the Leighton Denny files too . I have a cheapie crystal file from Amazon, it is ok but nothing near the Leighton one..
She loves the polishes too ( though weirdly the bottle of Bronzed Babe I got from M&S a couple of weeks back is slightly different to her previous ones. less pink )

I decided to treat myself to a Leighton Denny from M&S, but they have quite a selection on their site. Any recommendations as to which is the best one, please?

I’ve just had acrylics off and was told I needed a glass file. Presumably everyone recommends this brand?

This is the standard sized one. There is a mini, travel sized one which I have bought for myself and for presents as well.

Margaret Dabbs is better than Leighton Denny. VERY good.
