I tried the Shop Your Own wardrobe thread and the no spend thread but only successful for a while.
Well now its coming up to Autumn (sorry!) and I would like to go on a no spend for at least the remainder of the year,(hopefully into next year too) particularly on clothing.
I had a clearout for Anglo Collections but still my wardrobes are bursting. I think I have every shape style and colour in trousers jeans etc, coats for every possible weather condition.lots and lots of tops and tees and skirts in different styles and colours and shoes and boots in various styles and colours. (usuall end up wearing the same ones). That's not to mention dresses, some of which I haven't worn.
Can anyone please help, how do I curb this, is using only cash the best way, or would this be a bad idea in case of emergencies.
I've tried a fixed budget of drawing a fixed amount out of the bank each week but again what about emergencies if you don't have a card .
I'm retired from work now and don't need to have a different smart outfit each day.
Would really appreciate any helpful ideas.
