Stackers Jewellery Boxes - How Practical Are They?

I am looking to consolidate all my bits of jewellery and watches in one storage place, and Stackers seem like a great solution. However, most of them are layers, though there is a limited choice of drawer options. I am struggling to imagine how layers only work on a busy weekday morning, if you need to access items stored in different layers. Do you have to remove all layers to get to the one you want, then assemble back? Seems like a bit of a faff, but maybe I am missing something. In general, how well do they last? My trusty Jasper Conrad looks as good as new after 15 years, just doesn’t not hold my full collection anymore.

For me they’re a fab way to store lots of stuff with sentimental value that I only wear once in a blue moon. I don’t find them practical (apart from the top layer) for everyday use.

The stackers box I have is a deep layer and a thinner layer. Yes you have to take the top layer off to get to the bottom layer.
I presume they are all like this, although I didn’t know they do drawer options, might need to have a look at those!

I keep everything I use most regularly in the top layer, and the other layers are effectively storage. I swap the things around sometimes when I want to wear something else a bit more.

I did have Stackers, but it’s started falling apart. I recently bought a replacement from Muji. You can create your own , like stackers with their Acrylic boxes and the different inserts.

I love mine! I have five layers and I’ve managed to set it up so they’re quite different so it’s easy to, say, lift the top three layers off to get the the fourth layer down. I just started off with three layers and then added two more and might be another one soon

@landmarkyear Thank you. I have 2 double Muji drawers for Mike up, lined with textured wall paper to stop sliding, love them. Change the wall paper design occasionally, and feels like a new set.

They're fantastic, I got mine from Brand Alley,it's the classic set for £40. I got another set from Vinted plus a set for bangles.

I was dubious too but like others said I keep my most used stuff in the top section. The pros (good quality, looks nice, flexible order, addable layers) far outweigh the one con. I love mine, and I now have all my jewellery in one place.

I absolutely love mine! I had a small one for a few years then upgraded to a much bigger one a couple of years ago and I'm so glad I did. The top layer opens up, the middle two layers are drawers so I tend to keep necklaces/earings etc those and then the bottom layer I do have to lift all of the other layers off to get to it. That's where I keep special/non every day pieces as it would be a bit of a faff to lift it off every day. Think mine was around £100.

I managed to find a three tier one in a charity shop for £6. It's nice, but I mostly wear the same jewellery every day so I don't mind having to lift the layers off occasionally. I spent full price on a make up holder with a drawer and absolutely love it - not cheap, but really, really useful.

Loads on Vinted at the moment.

I have one similar and just lift everything off in one go to get the layer I want. It's no more faff than drawers.

I used to have the mini stacked version. I kept my everyday pieces in the top two layers.

I’ve now switched to drawers, which are more convenient.

Just be aware they sometimes stop making a specific colour, so if you need another layer, you might not be able to match the original colour.

To be honest, there are more cheaper and possibly more practical designs on Amazon etc.

I love my stackers jewellery box, I have five layers, its not really any hassle to lift the layer you want as it's not heavy. I bought mine less than half price on vinted in next to perfect condition.

Love mine. Find it easy to locate what I want. Had it quite a number of years and it still looks good as new.
