Handbag recommendations…cross body and handles. To go under airplane seat…to hold MacBook.

Hi,
I am looking for a handbag big enough to take on a flight and go under the seat. It has to take a MacBook, and all the stuff I usually take for a flight. ( the Mac used to go in the overhead in my suitcase).
I have spec cases. 2 novels, a make up bag with keys, a drawstring bag of chargers and AirPods, 2 bottles of water, wet ones, my phone, a zipped pouch with passports and purse, and 3 muesli bars.

I am not big so something huge would not suit.

Ideally, I would like handles and a strap so I could wear it cross body.

I was online looking last week and could not find what I am looking for.

I hope you can help.

PS A Birkin is way out of my budget but if anyone would like to gift me one…😂

It is to be a handbag though. I will have a suitcase too.

A Le Pliage would be perfect size wise, but it’s not cross body. I can’t imagine carrying that lot crossbody though; I can’t see it being very comfortable.

I don’t think it will be comfortable either @RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie .
I don’t normally have the MacBook in my handbag.

The crossbody would only be for a very short time. I have narrow shoulder so things slip off very easily

That lot will be quite heavy so uncomfortable to carry and put strain on your shoulders.

What about a rucksack? Although you then have to take it on and off every time you want something out of the bag, which is tedious. But I like these

You can get all different colours and better prices if you shop around.

But for cross body bags that are well made, lightweight with lots of pockets, I like Kipling.

Mia Tui make lots of great bags for travelling. I have one that can be work as a backpack, cross body or carried by a handle on top. They also make things to attach the bag to a wheeled suitcase.
