Hi
i Absolutely LOVE makeup
but i don’t know how to best store it! i have 7 Large make up bags, 2 full vanity box’s and a handbag makeup bag
probably more! Any tips on how best to store all this so i don’t forget to use it? i currently have to dig through all the bags to find what i want on the day and no matter how i sort the bags, its not helping! I Don’t have a lot of space or Money ( probably due to said make up addiction!) but i absolutely need a better way to do this!
Any tips/ideas/links would be really helpful!
Thanx so much

7? Cripes, no help but that's a helluva lot of make up. Maybe just pare down what you have to a more manageable amount?

Draws would be better - something from Ikea?

I use it all
its like art too me! So many colours and techniques and styles, it’s a love of the whole thing, like a paint pallet!

If you have space for dressing table I’d highly recommend it. I have ALOT of make up and have it organised in the drawers. Brushes and sponges etc are organised in tubs on the top and my everyday items are laid out on the top but it’s all kept tidy and organised.
I switch up my handbag makeup bag daily depending on what I need to take with me and put all the other bits back in their spaces in the dressing table.

Bathroom cabinet.? Or one of those wicker units with multiple drawers?

Makeup train cases can be a good solution. Or just get drawers and use them for this. Pots for brushes, divided drawers for other stuff.

I have some things out but everything else sorted by type (ie,
blush, lipsticks, etc) in these cosmetic bags - https://www.justmylook.com/products/justmylook-cosmetic-travel-bag-black. I stack them upright on the long edge in a box and then can just file through them to find what I want, which is made even easier as they’re clear. They’re very similar to the SpaceNK cosmetic bags but much less expensive!

I have mine in drawers. Sectioned according to what it is. Bases/primers/setting spray etc in one, eyeshadows/liners/mascaras in another and so on. Nail varnishes live in a big basket.

Vast collection of brushes in various containers, the ones I use most are in empty Diptyque jars on top.

I had a sort out at the weekend and ruthlessly threw out masses.

I’m now on the hunt for clear draws and some pot organiser things to go in. i have 2 dressing tables but neither have draws so they are more like tables with crap on!
Glad too see i’m not the only one who has a lot. Only one pair of shoes but a tone of highlighters!
