I’m a size 16 and very blessed in the boob department.
I’m going on holiday soon and I want a one piece swimsuit that won’t cost the earth and isnt totally unflattering .
Any recommendations ?

Look on next, I have several from there which you can get in proper bra size and not that expensive.

GrannyAchingsShepherdsHut · 11/08/2026 11:12

I bought this in absolute desperation and I'm delighted with it. I got an XXL and am size 16, 36G/H

Temu have some really nice ones that are flattering and dead cheap. I got 2 for my hols last year and the washed really well (washed everyday after swimming) and still look brand new.

Lights22 · 11/08/2026 16:50

Bravissimo

TheChosenTwo · 11/08/2026 16:53

A friend who is your size and blessed in the boob department swears by Next as per a pp, they sell some by bra size and she’s always wearing a beautiful bright colourful one looking great.
i’m always jealous of her swimwear!

EmmaM84 · 11/08/2026 16:56

How blessed exactly? If youre outwith high street cup sizes have a look on Brastop. Ive had a few steals from there over the years. Being KK cup ain't cheap 🥲

hahabahbag · 11/08/2026 17:11

I find that an underwired bikini top with a rash vest if more cover up is desired works better than a one piece sizing wise

Fiddlesticks1 · 11/08/2026 17:25

Last year I bought from Primark swimsuits were lovely. I’m a 36e.

MatronPomfrey · 11/08/2026 17:49

Bravissimo-great size options but expensive
Bra Stop and Pour Moi- bit cheaper

This one from Next is fairly generous in the cup, I went up a size. Lots of colour options and about as budget as you’ll get.

LEWWSH · 11/08/2026 18:12

The Pour moi brand from Next is really good. I’m a similar size to you and bought one earlier in the summer. I’m delighted with it

i’m JJ… so it’s not easy getting things to fit.

I have had the same problem and I have discovered Bloomchic - they have really nice designs which are flattering (I'm really self conscious about my tummy area) and they do options like swimming playsuits. I didnt want to risk trying a new brand so I got a couple of their things on Vinted and I love them! Couldn't justify £75 for a bravissimo one.

Mathair2 · 12/08/2026 00:28

I am the same size and my most flattering swimwear is from Shein. Read the reviews, looks at the pictures on reviews, and you will very quickly see what will suit you. I first got swimwear on Shein about 6 years ago and still wear it, and bought a few new pieces this summer.

bridgetreilly · 12/08/2026 02:29

Definitely look at Bravissimmo for really good support. Sale section is worth checking.

canuckup · 12/08/2026 03:24

Decathlon have some great swimsuits

AuntieBiotics · 12/08/2026 08:39

Australian brand called Nip Tuck Swimwear. They sometimes have it on TK Maxx. Really comfy and flattering and will hold everything in securely.

AuntieBiotics · 12/08/2026 08:40

And Shein and Temu is NEVER the solution.

Ohnobackagain · 12/08/2026 09:35

There are some excellent ones on Amazon. Cupshe is one of the brands that comes to mind - check the size chart as it has been accurate for me. Rxrxcoco is another. Good quality and reasonably priced @wizzler

Caterina99 · 12/08/2026 09:43

Similar kind of size and always despair of swim wear and I’m on holiday right now. I got 2 swimsuits from bloomchic the other week that I’m pretty happy with so I’m hopeful that’s me sorted for several years to come!

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 12/08/2026 11:07

Lands End, so much variation on length and bust size.
