have gained a couple of pounds recently.
my sport is starting up again in september and I can't make up the trousers. (safety material so can't be altered).
no button, do can't use those button extenders.

help!

I don't want my drawers to fall down mid activity. nor fo I want to spend £££ for a new pair.

Is there a button at the top? Could you do the hairband through a buttonhole trick?

Is there anything else at the top or just a zip? Like one of those trouser hook and bar typed things?

beigetriangle · 11/08/2026 09:27

it's a zip and velcro insead of button.

thinking about it, a piece of velcro?

Can you sew on some buttons so you can use an elastic extender?

beigetriangle · 11/08/2026 11:00

sewing/altering is not possible as it's a safety fabric.

I hate it when cardigans with no buttons flap all over the place and end up looking like a super hero cape in high winds 😁
