Which Casual trainer styles come up narrow? (Teen boy)

DS(17) needs new “everyday” trainers for college. He’s got long (12/13), very, very narrow feet with low arches. He’s wearing a pair of Nike AF1s with heel cups, volume adjusting insoles and Superfeet insoles. As his trainers have got older and stretched, the sides meet the middle and they are now too loose to wear at all. He’s also worn a hole in the sole.

DS hates getting new shoes and clothes, but has admitted that he needs new everyday trainers for college.

So, can anyone point me in the direction of the holy grail of casual trainers that:

Are narrow fitting
Go up to a size 13 or beyond
Are leather or at least waterproof (ie not mesh, canvas, suede)
Sneakery/casual style
Preferably mainstream brand, Nike, Adidas etc
In an ideal world… orange would feature
In the real world we’ll settle for a good fit.

DS is not sporty. These be for knocking about college etc. No need for any sporting features!

Converse I find are very narrow. Also, Adidas Samba and Gazelle style I always think look narrow.

Thank you for the suggestions for Converse. I’d forgotten that they do styles other than the classic canvas Chuck Taylor boots. Anyway, we’ve ordered 2 styles - fingers crossed they are long and thin enough. Also considerably cheaper than Nikes!

Aside from the type of shoe, search lace styles for narrow feet.
i kid you not certain ways of lace styles casuals the shoe more comfortable for wide feet and vice versa

Yep, we’re on this. DH used to actually be a boot fitter in a very popular outdoor shop. DS’s feet do need to at least touch the sides of the shoes though!
