Vinted refunds does it really take this long?

I bought a suit that was never delivered so was refunded on 27th August.
I was told it would take 5 working days. When it didnt arrive I phoned my bank to see if it was pending. It was but would take another 7 to 10 days. Is this usual?

Yes

Not in my experience, whenever I’ve had a Vinted refund the money is back in my account only a day or two later. The longest I’ve had to wait is 3 days.

27 July you mean? And is it 7-10 working days? If so then 10 days is tomorrow. And yes, very normal, it's banks dealing with banks.

Sorry yes 27th of July. Vinted told me 5 working days. At the end of that I then phoned my bank who said it was still pending and would be another 7-10 days.

Vinted don’t return to your bank. They return to your Vinted account. You then request a withdrawal to your bank. Have you received the refund into your Vinted balance.

Edited

I’ve always had refunds into my bank, never ever had any problems,

I’m expecting a message from Vinted very soon as something I ordered hasn’t been sent.

Last time I got a refund the money was in my bank the next day. DD is the same, any refunds go straight back into her bank.

We don’t ever sell though, only buy, don’t know if that makes a difference.

I’m still waiting for a refund from 29th July for a parcel that was lost.
