How long did you wait for a (private medicine) tummy tuck in the UK?

If you had a tummy tuck in the UK in the last year or so, can I ask how long it took between telling your surgeon you wanted to go ahead and actually getting the operation? Was there a long wait? Also, were you happy with your results and would you be willing to share who you went with? Is it worth going for the most expensive surgeon if you can afford it or are their plenty of surgeons who charges a mid-range price that do a good job?

I don't think the waiting lists are too long but I suppose it depends on where you go. Where have you been looking at?? I'm booked in at the CREO Clinic with Dr. Omar Tillo and the wait was only a couple of months. Just ask at the places you're interested in and they'll probably tell you over the phone how long their waiting list is.

My colleague had one done last year and I think she only waited a couple of months. She is delighted with the result. She underestimated the amount of recovery time though but felt it was worth it. I can’t remember the name of her surgeon but he was in the north west and I think she paid about £9k. She had diastasis recti repair too for her abdominal muscles. Recovery I think was 8-10 weeks altogether but I think she had a mild infection.
