Is anyone else a sucker for fancy makeup packaging?

I’ve just purchased a new Dior eyeshadow palette not only because of the colours but also because of the packaging which echoes the current collection themes.

Is anyone else a sucker for packaging?

Yes, but I like minimalistic packaging. If something is too fussy or girlie even if I want to try the product I’ll normally avoid it!

I’m a sucker for perfume bottles. I will chose one for the pretty bottle rather than the scent

Yeh I love it and that's fine. That's part of the element of luxury and treat about expensive makeup and skincare. I don't spend £500 on something, but if a lippie or a fragrance is in nice packaging it gives me pleasure to use it. And if that means it costs £30 rather than £12 I am totally fine with that.

Example – the Vilhelm Parfumerie bottles that come in Liberty ACs – so so lovely, spun glass and gorgeous on my dressing table.
