Has anybody had a treatment at one of the Lush spas?

I was given a voucher for the shop Lush for my birthday - went in to one of their city centre stores today and saw that they have a spa attached offering a range of treatments. Wondering if anybody has had one of these, and whether you would recommend it? Thank you so much.

No, but I had a tour around one of the London ones recently and it really did look 'lush' 😉 So, lucky you! Enjoy.

Yes, 2 spa visits and both wonderful. A world away from the chaos in the shop. Just a lovely experience both times

Yes! I have been to Leeds, Liverpool and Glasgow spas. Had the highland treatment and the good hour. Both were fantastic. The spa areas are beautiful too - you wouldn’t know that you’re in the city centre. Enjoy!!

Yes! I don’t love Lush products, but I had a brilliant (if slightly bonkers) treatment in their Oxford Street spa. It was basically a pirate-themed massage, which I only did because I had a voucher but was actually amazing.

I've been to the Leeds shop spa, it was a great experience, the treatments are lovely. The only thing that someone might think is negative is that it's not a full day wafting around in bathrobes, there's a small area outside the treatment rooms where you can have a herbal tea.

I’d recommend the good hour. It’s the piratey one - the music is a mix of coastal birdsong and traditional sea shanties. The lighting is blue/green and they use dry ice to make atmospheric waves across the floor at the start when you’re getting settled. The massage itself is wonderful - full body, mix of energetic and calming to fit the ebb and flow of the soundtrack. Afterwards, you have tea with a shot of rum and a piece of shortbread in the cozy spa area. It’s awesome.

the highland one is more woo woo - you have a guided meditation, choose a rune stone before the treatment and use the reading to create a visual journey that you go on during the massage. There’s a lovely section of head massage in that one as well.

These both sound brilliant actually! I wouldn't mind them being a bit weird - I like trying new things.....

I can see why some people would like this, personally I would hate it but my idea of a good spa treatment involves very little talking, me laying face down on a table, enjoying some silence and having the knots thoroughly kneaded out then a quick shower and I’m out. I hate all the meditation stuff and prefer as little human interaction as possible. Honestly if I could get a good massage from a silent robot I’d pick that.
