Hair conundrum

So to cut a long story short I have a bob. Have done for a few months now. Anyway have a salon appt next week and dont know whether I want to continue with the bob or growing it out. I like a bob mind it can be cute and edgy and stylish but it does take alot of styling and washing. But, if I grow my hair out I find it looks limp and drags my face down (oval) but, I dont cut it often at all when I grow it so no wonder it looks terrible. Plus im probably doing more damage by styling a daily bob than having longer hair and throwing it in a claw clip. Trouble is I want to look like I give a crap and want my hair to look nice but with 3 kids I feel the bob is effort and doing nothing to it sucks.

No advice but following because my hair and face shape is exactly the same as yours.

I had got my hair quite long and in really good condition, then used a colour wow product that lead to a horrible coating on my hair, plus lots of snapping and breakage, and it’s just a dry frizzy mess right now.

I have an appointment next week and I’m thinking of getting a bob. Again.

I used to have a bob but like you find it requires a bit of work to keep it looking neat and in shape. I've grown it a bit longer and have choppy layers so it doesn't matter if I kinks or kicks out. Also have an oval face so long hair drags it down.

It's hard. When its long I want it short and when its short I want it long. However having it shorter has been nice in the heatwaves its off rhe back of my neck. And I dont wake up sweating as much

I have a bob. I have thick wavy hair and found a stylist who can do it so it’s wash and wear - no styling needed, not even a hair dryer. When I moved to London tried four stylists and none of them can do it properly. So I travel 80 miles to my old stylist. What I’m saying you don’t have a style issue you have a stylist issue! You heed someone who can cut it so you are not a slave to product/hair dryer.

Oh theres a point! I have to be fair she does cut it quite nice. The guy who i used to go to i always used to feel disappointed within days but this salon is good. The girls there actually sit and talk about what you want and most importantly listen. Maybe im expecting to roll out of bed looking perfectly undone. Trust me thats not the reality.
