Erborian BB cream - which shade?

I have very pale skin with pink undertones. If you have a similar skin tone, which shade is the best?

Clair. Trust me on this lol. I’ve been through this saga a few times, back and forth to Space NK. If you have pale skin, no matter your undertone, it’s Clair. I tried Nude and Doré as I’m actually half Italian and my skin can look quite olive, but I’m still very pale and Clair was the only one that didn’t make me look orange.

Thank you. I was tempted just to go with Nude because it sounds like it should suit everyone. I'll go with Clair 😊

I have gone with Clair for my pale Irish skin. Really like it.

Sorry to hijack the thread but I have yellow undertones and a slightly olive skin tone, but I'm not really dark skinned and I've also really struggled to find a shade to suit me. Any recs for me?

I don't wear make up as I've no clue, I'd just chuck on boots no7 medium bb cream. How do you tell what tone you are?

Your undertone is either warm/neutral/cool. You can swatch test on your wrist but your jaw works best. Once you find a shade and product that matches your skin tone you can use it as a reference point to find similar matches.

I'm hopeless so I just went to a store similar to Sephora to have someone do it for me.

See I still don't get it. My jaw and wrist are very different colours, especially as I carry a tan most of the year round.

I'm a sad fucker, 40 next month and even my 11yo gets make up. (they cake it on my face, so no!)

I feel you, I'd go by your jaw then? Since it goes on your face anyway.

Personally I'm just using tinted sunscreen - Colorescience is pricey but since I'd need both anyway I can rationalize the purchase and the shades don't end up as orange. There's one that matches all skin tones. But that might not be a good fit for you if you like tan.
