The one I use now.

Is it a secret?

downtoearththensinksthesun · 04/08/2026 17:13

Clinic!

hahabahbag · 04/08/2026 17:14

Voseine or head and shoulders, I remember timotei coming out and begging for it as a teen

Borborygmus · 04/08/2026 17:15

Vosene, and I still use it today.

NeverDropYourMooncup · 04/08/2026 17:15

Whatever was cheapest, I think. When I got a Saturday job, I bought Timotei and the first time I tried the conditioner as well was amazing. I was clean and swishy and deaf to the 'what a waste of money, thats for blondes, not you'.

Vosene! I can still smell it now lol.

Same or Timotei on occasion

SerendipityCat · 04/08/2026 17:25

Silvikrin, in a little sachet. My older sister had a Saturday job in Woolworth’s, and she always seemed to be bringing it home. In retrospect, I wonder if she half-inched it?!

deletealt734 · 04/08/2026 17:29

Coromist (?spelling) a lucious pinky cream colour smelt sooo nice

WiltonGal · 04/08/2026 17:32

When I was very small, Vosene and a dollop of Vitapoint leave in conditioner. When I was a teenager, Sunsilk Poppy. It was for dull hair. Made it sparkle. Smelled lovely.

Crackery · 04/08/2026 17:34

vosene!

thenewaveragebear1983 · 04/08/2026 17:35

vosene, it stung so much if it got in the eyes. And no conditioner. My sister and I both had longer, wavy, thick hair and for some reason parents never bought us conditioner. My hair was a course frizzy mess

Crackery · 04/08/2026 17:35

Borborygmus · 04/08/2026 17:15

Vosene, and I still use it today.

Whaaat? It still exists?

Lomonald · 04/08/2026 17:35

Vosene.and every now and again coal tar shampoo it stank but my mum.thought it was a nit deterrent ! Tbf I never once had nits .

AngelsWithSilverWings · 04/08/2026 17:38

Vosene - makes me think it's as the only shampoo available in the 70's. I remember wanting Timotei when I saw the adverts.

allmycats · 04/08/2026 17:39

Whatever bar soap was available- unless we had visitors when it was Avon Pretty Peach.

DelphiniumBlue · 04/08/2026 17:41

As a teenager, Flex. No idea what shampoo we had when I was a child, probably what was cheapest.

Jellycatspyjamas · 04/08/2026 17:42

Vosene here too and then Alberto Balsam when I could but my own. I still use Vosene on the kids.

Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain · 04/08/2026 17:42

Timotei, Johnson’s no more tears, vosene, a green apple one.

RemindMeIn15Minutes · 04/08/2026 17:43

Linco Beer. It was fabulous.

Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain · 04/08/2026 17:43

Vidal Sassoon as a teen.

SaraHoliday · 04/08/2026 17:51

BeLimeViewer · 04/08/2026 15:46

The one I use now.

Vosene then Timotei (back then!)

LeoDiCapricorn · 04/08/2026 17:51

Timotei

GordanoServices · 04/08/2026 17:52

Timotei

YessicaHaircut · 04/08/2026 18:00

Linco Beer, Timotei or Body Shop ice blue shampoo. Followed by Body Shop banana conditioner. If I had a bath I always had a bath pearl in there too, I loved those! Early 80s child.
