White marks on new leather jacket - help!

Hi, only had this jacket a few months and worn it a couple of times. It's been hanging on a hook by the door and in my wardrobe at other times. What could the white marks be, and how can I get rid of them? (It's not mould.) Thanks!

I get these on my leather jacket when it’s been in the wardrobe. I have no idea what they are. But I get rid of them with a face wipe or baby wipe.

Is it a built in wardrobe with a painted wall (rather than a blackboard) at the back of it? If so, and it's on the arm/shoulder, it could be wall paint?

Could it be from your makeup, eg foundation? Sometimes I get marks like that when I’ve applied makeup then not ensured hands are spotless before putting on clothes. If so, a micellar wipes should help.

You can get leather wipes for cleaning - they’re for sofas but sure they will work

I think it will be just fat coming out of the leather. I've seen it on saddles before.
Get yourself some leather cleaner or saddle soap and it will clean off.

Is it sunscreen? It's an absolute PITA, it does clean off though with something like micellar water.

It doesn't come off car paintwork though 😡

Thank you so much guys, I'll try those options!

Not a built in robe but thank you x

I've used shoe polish before, apply and then buff, just like polishing shoes.
