Having a slight panic. I’m 50
and went to a reputable clinic to
discuss what to do about slight jowls. Was interested in Sculptra or some
kind of collagen stimulator.
Anyway the doctor said treatment depends on the cause of the jowls and she could see mine were down to some volume loss on the preauricular area. Said if I added a bit of filler here and a tiny bit to the cheeks that would bring the structure back. (With a view to do Sculptra down the line).
I had this done on Thursday and I don’t like the look at all. It looked ok in the office but I feel I look puffy and my face is wider. I mean the jowls do look better but still. Will they settle down? Anyone had filler and hated it at first? I think it’s too soon to ask for it to be dissolved. I’ll wait two weeks but feeling slightly regretful. I have read the first week the fillers attract water and look puffy.
I know it’s all my own fault for being vain.
Is dissolving straight forward if anyone has had this done?
