How do you pronounce Asics.... long or short a?

I go back and forth. They are my go to for trainers

I say Azzix.

Ay-six and they’re great! I just can’t bring myself to say ass. Also, it’s an acronym and the first word of it is a for anima so…

I just ordered a pair... I go back and forth, but think I will stick to ass-icks for future. They are my go to for trainers.
