Heels for fat feet …help!!!

Heels for a cruise, but plus sized not worn heels in years….
im a size 26 roughly and used to wear heels occasionally but due to being bigger than a size 8 with wide feet, after my third pregnancy I just never wore them again. But I am
on a cruise early Autumn and they have formal nights , 3/4 and I would like to make slightly more of an effort, I’m worried about looking like the frumpy one when everyone is dressed to the 9s!!!

Are there any good , comfortable ish heels for fat feet I’m think Chunky heel is a good starting point I find wedges lethal I go over on my ankle on them…

Wide leg trousers and flats is the way to go. Heels aren‘t the thing anymore.

They are expensive (but come up on Vinted/Ebay regularly in vgc), but Sole Bliss are amazingly comfortable, wide and available in an 8. I love the Ruby sandals as the block heels and platform are really easy to wear but look nice too.

I haven’t worn heels for over 30 years - young people today only wear them on nights out - I have wide feet and size 8 - ballet pumps with palazzo trousers is very chic -

Heels have been back in fashion for ages. Nothing wrong with wearing flats if you prefer them of course.

I think wide leg trousers with espadrilles (possibly with a small wedge heel) would work.

Making more of an effort definitely doesn’t mean compulsorily tottering around a ship in high heels. It sounds positively dangerous, as well as uncomfortable if you don’t usually wear them.

I dont know how much you weigh but when I was that size theres no way I could do heels, not only do podgy feet look dreadful in heels, the pressure on our knees is dreadful

Im half my size now and only wear flats still. I wore wide leg trousers and nice flats on a cruise on the dress up nights.

Meant to also add theres a LOT of walking on cruise ships, they're bloody massive and we kept getting lost so wear something comfortable. And it sways about too.

Re-reading your OP I’m a bit uncertain about what shoe size you actually are. These go up to a size 42 - would that be big enough? (Excellent brand.)

OP do you mean your feet are bigger than a size 8 or you are bigger than a size 8?

How old are you OP just so I know what shoes you would be prepared to wear? I am thin but have half size EE wide feet so am used to hunting for very wide shoes.
