Ibiza dress for 40 year old?

I need a glam-ish dress for a night out in Ibiza. This is tricky as im definitely not an "ibiza glam night out" sort of person! Its for a nice bar/club, so I want to be able to dance and not get too hot, but also feel a little bit special compared to everyday dresses.
Im short, size 8/10, small boots, small waist. Happy to show arms/legs. Im 40 and while I don't believe in having to dress a certain way, I also don't feel comfortable in many of the brands i used to wear when i would go out dressed up! I tend to suit blues and pastels but im open to suggestions. Max budget £150. Help!

This skirt is so nice. Most of the dresses suggested have been so mumsy. I'm 37 and wouldn't wear half of these suggestions for Ibiza

I know. The quickest way to age yourself in Ibiza is to be too dressy and wear heals I find!

Separates are easier. I usually wear either an embellished top with simple denims cut-offs or an embellished skirt/shorts with very simple top. Add lots of cheap jewelry (beads, bangles, earrings, necklaces), a pair of trainers and a tan and you’re good to go.

Would be fine in the clubs or bars i used to go out to magaluf and didnt tnink anhthing of it, just sear something cool

I went to Ibiza for my 40 th a few weeks ago and I wore sequin mini dresses or playsuit from Vinted with trainers. I’m a size 8 and average height with a c section mum tum.

It really is anything goes so I wear what I love which is sequins but my mates wore coords, denim shorts with a top, a few maxi dresses. I find people don’t wear heels as it’s impractical for dancing and I don’t like having my toes trodden on so avoid flip flops.

Definitely wear closed toe shoes if you can- especially if you're going somewhere very busy like Freddies in Pikes (incidentally if you are going to Pikes you're not allowed flip flops). People will tread on your toes, and a friend of mine got glass in her foot in Freddies one year.

Wore this season Zara strapless jumpsuit with baggy trousers big gold jewellery and chunky heeled sandals. Picked out by my fashionista 17 year old so was in safe hands as have in house advice! Felt spot on.

Definitely nothing floral or boho. We are with teens though so went to the full on clubs. Lots of shorts and sequin minis. I thought the women in shorts type play suits looked best. Think I’m too old for them sadly.

I’ve worn open toed flat sandals to all the clubs and bars in Ibiza and never been trodden on. But people do wear trainers too. It’s entirely up to you. Pikes doesn’t allow flip flops but it does allow sandals

Wear what you want and are comfortable in. I'm almost 40 and literally can pass in most things I wore in my 20s. As long as you are comfortable who cares?

A lot of these dresses aren’t quite right for the Ibiza vibe but you see all sorts there so wear what’s comfortable.
