Pregnancy safe skincare

Hi! Recently discovered I am pregnant. I am in my first trimester. Can anyone recommend any skin care products that are safe to use in pregnancy?

I was using Anua Azelaic acid but don’t think it’s safe. I also use a Beauty of Joseon green plum cleanser, La Roche Posay SPF and Anua ceramide moisturiser.

Thinking I’m gonna need to make some cleaner swaps, so open to suggestions! Thanks!

Azeliac acid isn’t contraindicated in pregnancy
the only thing I’d be seeking advice on is vitamin a ie retinal

and there’s no such thing as clean skincare - it’s a marketing ploy

I would say your skin may become more sensitive during your pregnancy so just keep an eye on that

congrats on your pregnancy

Clean is just a marketing made up word. The only thing not advised is retinol type products.

Okay maybe clean wasn’t the right term to use. Just pregnancy safe then ☺️ okay for sensitive skin.

I agree with @rubyslippers the only thing to avoid is vitamin a/retinol products. I switched mine to Medik8 Bakuchiol Peptides.

If you’re not gonna eat it it won’t hurt the baby
