Off to Liverpool tomorrow and the forecast is 19/20 degrees and beeezy. I’ve spent weeks boiling and half naked and I’ve forgotten how to get dressed! If it’s breezy, it will feel cooler by the river.

Obviously some sort of layering will be needed, but what? Will a linen shirt be enough, or will I need a jacket? Can I still wear sundresses or do I need to get my jeans out?!

I’m not usually this stupid, honestly!

If anybody happens to know any nice restaurants in Liverpool too, I’d love to hear!

Cowshed on Seel Street!
Liverpool can be a bit breezy. I’d bring a jacket for the evening.
what are you planning to do?

Thank you. I’m vegetarian, and Cowshed sounds as if it might be meaty!

No firm plans, but maybe a walk on Crosby beach and a look at some of the pubs in the Georgian quarter. Perhaps a mooch around the Baltic and a pop into Love Lane Brewery.

No help but I’m off to Edinburgh for a few days very soon and thinking the same thing! I can’t even look at jeans at the moment, I am thinking I may even need a jumper!

Glad it’s not just me! Having wafted around in sundresses for ages, I suspect that anything with an actual waistband might feel rather snug!

I’ve opted for sundresses with a denim jacket. Hopefully it’ll do!
