Clip in hair extensions

My hair has lost so much density over the years. It’s fine but with a coarse texture so I have a keratin treatment once a year. I’m thinking of trying clip in extensions to add volume. Because my hair is so fragile I don’t want anything actually connected to the hair long term and I also don’t think I would be able to keep up the maintenance with normal hair extensions. I also really struggle to get volume in my hair.

Does anyone use these regularly? Are they easy to use and have they made a difference?

Watching with interest, as I have fine, thinning hair.,

I have mine done in the salon every 7-8 weeks but that doesn’t sound like what you want? They are nano extensions and are attached to a small strip of hair to give volume. I’m 58 and have lost a lot of volume over the past 2 years, with menopause and weight loss.

@Overtheatlantici would rather avoid salon if possible for now. I just don’t want that level of commitment at the moment.

I use the halo extentions so nothing attaching to the hair at all, they are brilliant

I understand completely. I still haven’t decided if I’m going to stay with mine. It’s time and money, and right now I have Lego hair because they’re just sitting there.

I use foxy locks occasionally but not for everyday wear. They are starting to feel heavy on my head, I think due to peri my skin is more sensitive, so I might look at the halo ones

I will maybe give halo a try again. I bought one but I feel it makes volume difficult. My hair is short just want something to make it fuller.
