GHD recommendations . Help !

A completely nice problem to have I know ..: but I want to buy a pair of strainers.. my hairdresser has recommended GHD's
I have long hair but meno hair and I'm pretty useless at doing it .. so wise Mumsnets please help

I think cloud 9 are the go to brand now, however with fine falling out meno hair I love way more then ghd I used to use, an Amika hot brush.
