My Hair Stinks!

I used a colour remover on my hair a week ago and I've double washed and conditioned my hair several times since. Today it got warm in the sun and I can smell the remover in it, it stinks like onions/sewers.

What can I do to get rid of the smell?

Wash your hair 4-5 times. With an apple cider vinegar rinse.

Are you planning to re dye it? If so that usually helps the smell

If not agree with PP apple cider vinegar a few times.

Thank you, I knew it would smell bad when I did it but I didn't realise it would stil smell a week later!

I am planning to dye it again but want all the smell gone so I know that all the remover has gone too. Everyday it seems to get more orange!

It clings to the hair to strip it hence why it takes ages for the smell to go!

I used it once but I dyed my hair a few days later and noticed the dye seemed to get rid of the smell.

Thats not always the best thing to do though as I know some professionals advise letting it rest for longer to prevent damage.

Wild one... bicarbonate of soda?! I dont have a clue if it works but it seems like it would?!

Ok just googled this and mixing it with water like a paste and putting on your hair may actually help the smell...!?
