Holiday glam

Hi all, every year I go away I aspire to be one of those glam people by the pool and yet every year I look like a sweaty mess. Does anyone have any tips or tricks for long hair, face etc for daytime on holiday for staying looking fresh, and also for evening time. I want to hear some make up etc but nothing too heavy. Thanks

If you don’t already do so: brow tint and lash tint / lift. Makes you look more “done” without needing to worry about makeup sliding off or smudging

For the first time ever, I took a hairstyling tool on holiday (hot styling brush, so I could dry & straighten in one go) + Color Wow Dream Coat for sleek hair and my usual hair oil and a little hairspray. If you pop a bit of oil on your hand, hair spray it and then rub the mix together well and smooth it over your just-styled hair, it really helps with frizz.

I usually have quite wavy hair that I just let dry naturally on hols, but this year I decided to go glam and that combo really worked!

I second the brow tint and lash lift and tint, depending where I’m going I occasionally get individual lash extensions. I normally have a fresh manicure on hands and a pedicure and polish on toes. If I’ve time and remember to book it I go for a lymphatic drainage massage a couple of days before travelling. Colour Wow have a great range of haircare, I use the Money Mist because I put it on in the morning and leave it on all day and it stops my hair drying out, I always wear a hat too because it keeps the sun from my hair and off my face. At night I only wear a bit of eye shadow and eyeliner with bronzer or blush and lipstick, I use Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless setting spray to hold it in place. I take my curling wand for a few curls at night but my hair is normally up during the day.
