Too hot for tights

So I have scarring on my legs and always wear trousers if possible. This hot weather tights don't feel comfortable, any suggestions for cool breathable hosiery?

Would something like dermablend or stage make up work rather than tights?
I had a scar that really upset me for years and covering it up meant I finally felt I could get the legs out in warmer weather. I use dermablend but there are others on the market and the difference they make is incredible. The freedom felt amazing. BTW I got it lazered when I could afford to which made a huge difference too (I appreciate that is only appropriate for certain scars/skin conditions).

Id just wear chub rubs and a maxi dress. I have a maxi kaftan dress from Monsoon which is super cool...like wearing nothing and doesnt show my legs at all.
I like to wear it with a statement necklace.

Definitely long flowy type skirts / dresses could be the way forward. Or jump suits / lightweight fabric dungarees-style things? I'm living in those at the moment - more secure leg coverage and a range of formal and informal options.

I will add also that whatever type of scarring you have, no one should have to hide themselves away and my instinct is to say screw the world and get your legs out in the heat girl. However... totally get that there are a million possible reasons you might not be comfortable with this and that you've got to do what feels right to you. I hope you find a solution that works and feels good.

So many people have this issue or similar with the heat. It's tough to navigate.

I think a good excuse to shop maxi and shorties!
