Something comfy and warm for long haul flight

Hi all,

Where should I look to find something soft and comfy for a long haul flight (with kids) please?

I'm fairly petite if that makes any difference. I find flights are usually a bit on the chilly side and we are heading somewhere wintery so will be wanting long sleeves and legs!

I like Halara stuff for travelling, they’ve got lots of options depending on what you’re comfortable in. It’s always really comfy.

I always go with leggings, a vest and some layers on the top. Comfortable and practical, no layers gathering on the toilet floor.

Last I flew Emirates it was roasting hot on board, last time I flew BA in EU it was too. Wear light layers with soft waist band. Shoes that can slip off, flight socks

Im going to Lithiania in winter and Ill be wearing my baukjen longline cream cable jumper with a plain teashirt underneath in case I need to take the jumper off and my skechers go walk trousers which are slightly boot cut, very stretchy and much more flattering than leggings.
Flight socks and trainers as my feet tend to swell on planes.

The Sweaty Betty Explorer trousers are comfy, lightweight and warm enough for travelling. I just bought some brand new ones half price on Ebay and Vinted often have them. Layers for the top half are the best option as temps can vary so much.

I love those. I was looking at those trousers this morning online and trying to persuade myself that I dont need any more trousers 😎

Every store has their own version of this kind of stuff. It depends how much you want to spend.

If you can get them discounted then I'd say definitely get some. They are perfect travelling trousers but pretty expensive full price.

A plain T shirt, long line carfigan ,( also a cosy blanket) and cuffed Alexa trousers from hush or my pineapple cuffed joggers. Got the joggers ftom Next and they are so soft with a wide forgiving waist band.

I am a long haul travel veteran. It’s definitely all about comfort and warmth, to get through it, unless you have money to burn and are travelling business or first class. I always get cold so it’s joggers, a vest top (in case it gets hot), long sleeve tshirt and a warm cosy jumper. Dark colours in case something gets spilled etc. I always bring extra socks.

Never ever wide leg trousers unless you want the hems soaked in other people’s pee.

Varley is great for travel. Soft and oozy, and washes brilliantly. I wear the wide leg trousers and Hawley zip neck.
