What can I wear with this skirt and shoes

I’ve got a nice cream linen skirt( Max Mara ) and coral/orangey polka dot shoes with low heel. I think they look nice together but need a top.
It’s a day time family party in a pub with a garden. Not super formal so I Im thinking something on the less structured side of things but open to any suggestions! I’m at 12 on top with size 30F, and get my clothes on the High St or second hand.

Have you got photos or links for the skirt and shoes?
Apologies, see they are en route.

I would wear a heel with skirt that length.

a black peplum top from m &s

Can you wear a blouse? (I look shit in them). If so, I'd go blouse/shirt in the same colour as the skirt, plus wide coral belt, maybe a scarf in your hair, cats eye sunglasses, 50s vibe.

Having seen the photo, I would choose a silky white top - nothing too fussy.

How fixed are you on wearing the dotty shoes? I'm not sure they go with the skirt.

Try a nude coloured high heel instead?

You could the add a pop of colour with a bag or keep it neutral and elegant?

Have a great time ☺️

I can’t wear heels and consequently they aren’t my style. I do have a pair of low court shoes in black with a round toe, but they are very boring and funereal.
I’m actually happy with what I’ve got so far and looking for top half ideas.
Maybe a cropped Bardot style or fitted blouse?
like the idea if a wide belt too!
Thanks

If you want to wear the shoes - which I love btw - I’d wear a top similar colour to the skirt. Keep the focus on the shoes and everything else cream or tonal. If you want a belt and it suits your shape, great, but keep it cream too otherwise you’ll look ‘cut in half’.

It’s giving 1980’s summer office wear vibes, pair with a plain white tee and orange plastic beads and bangle set.

I think it looks officey as well. I'd go for a much less structured skirt, dress or palazzos. I am not getting pub summer party from the skirt. The shoes could work with trousers or a dress but I think sandals would be better (I have a thing against enclosed shoes with socks in the summer). I'm sorry, I've been no help at all!
