Dyson hair dryer replacement

My Dyson hair dryer is starting to glitch after 6 years loyal service. I could buy another one but I know there are good alternatives and ‘dupes’ now.
I’ve seen this one but wondered if anyone had other options.
Hair is straight and thick, not a curl to it!

My dyson stopped working and I replaced it with a shark as it was a bit cheaper than buying another dyson.
The shark is good but not as good as the dyson was.
Its also a lot louder, ive worn ear plugs a couple of times whilst drying my hair as its cant be good for my hearing.
If you can afford it id recommend replacing with another Dyson, nothing compares.

I’ve sent mine away for repairs before, it cost £100, which I considered reasonable after 6 years. It’s still going strong. Look on the Dyson website?

I’m afraid id replace it with another Dyson. Mine is the best hairdryer I’ve had.

Parlux Hairdryers are the best !
I use them I'm a stylist for clients and myself !

Thanks and I hear you- I do love my Dyson! I’ll have to use the AirWrap, which I find disappointing, in the meantime!
I like Parlux but they’re much heavier than the Dyson

I’d second this excellent hairdryer. I also have the GHD travel hairdryer and that’s not bad but my Parlux is amazing.

6 years is not very long! I have had my Toni and Guy one about 20 years and it's going strong 😆

I have the GHD Halo which is very good, I can recommend it.

I had a shark & it kept overheating. The first one was replaced under warranty & the second one did the same just after the warranty expired. I now have a Dyson.
