Swimsuit suggestions less than £100!

Look for a swimsuit size 14-16 but larger chest and rounded tummy. Normally get a underwired swimsuit but prefer a little bit more coverage on my chest and not feeling so 'out there'. Anything that isn't underwired just feels like a homogenous blob though! No definition at all under the bust so makes my waist look bigger if that makes sense. Also would rather not spend £100 on something I rarely wear! Any suggestions other than the usual black sensible style? These are fine but something prettier would be nice.

Great selection of swimwear in TK Maxx. Lots of top brands & nice styles you wouldn’t get elsewhere. Obviously, it’s down to luck with sizing, but always worth a look in a good store!

Cantwaitforwinter · 23/07/2026 22:29

Decathlon! I think mine was £24 and covers all my wobbly, bobbly, fleshy bits.

Ladyeggo · 23/07/2026 22:31

I’m shocked at how much swimwear is this year! I haven’t bought a cosi in a while but crikey. And what’s with the linings? I saw a lovely White Stuff one but the fact it is lined has put me right off.

This is what I have. Provides a lot of breast support and tummy control.

I got a couple from m&s last year. I am a 12/14 with big boobs and found if I went up a size and went for their longer body fit, they worked.

Sainsbury’s Tu range has some nice ones

JulietteHasAGun · 24/07/2026 06:59

I’ve been struggling, loads of sizes sold out on next, M&S, Tu. I did manage to find one I’ve ordered from Tu and another from Regatta.

Even the swimsuit specialist type websites such as Panache and Pour Moi seem out of stock of a lot, I see something I like and it’s not in my size or only available in black.

think I left it a bit late. 🤷‍♀️

PersephoneParlormaid · 24/07/2026 07:00

I get mine at Next

Slim pickings at TK Maxx too.

JD Williams has some according to the endless ads on my Facebook page.

Pattygonia · 24/07/2026 07:06

I really rate LandsEnd swimsuits - some of the styles aren’t quite my thing but what keeps me coming back to them is the quality of the cut and fabric - I’m a big fan of their tugless range.

JulietteHasAGun · 24/07/2026 07:12

Op, I just went onto next to get a link for you for this one which I saw yesterday but was out of stock n my size and my size has come back in stock. Just ordered. https://www.next.co.uk/style/su818222/v25786

I've really struggled to find good swimwear.
The supermarkets have slim pickings, I think because it's seasonal and most sizes are oos.
Matalan has some cheaper options still.
Decathlon is OK but I had to return a few items because of sizing.

This is pretty much what I was going to say.

Bravissimo for sure

MrsJigsaw · 24/07/2026 08:29

I'm a 32H and size 14. I dont like underwired swimwear. I have this one and find it gives good support and a nice shape...

Size 14 with small chest and big tummy here. Got Peacocks tankinis this year, you can mix top and bottom sizes, underwire so that tummy doesn't look bigger than boobs, cheap but decent quality.

VividDeer · 24/07/2026 10:18

Pour moi. £45. Stock in john lewis

Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain · 24/07/2026 12:34

H&M have a lot of nice swimsuits. If you don’t like those then on their website they’ve got &other stories ones too which are approx £57 and Cos ones more expensive.

Matalan has some nice ones too.

Tu at Sainsburys and even F&F tesco have nice swimsuits.

I second this.

Also if you can get to a Bravisimo they are great in terms finding a good fit.

SmashingGemini · 24/07/2026 13:56

I think Boden has the best swimwear, lots in the sale as well.
