Please help me find this dress!

I saw a woman wearing a gorgeous dress yesterday but didn't have a chance to ask her where it was from (seriously regretting dithering about it now!). I've tried googling it, but without success.

It was a sort of muslin/cotton material (a bit crinkly), white or a very pale cream. She was taller than me, so was midi length on her, but probably maxi for me.
It had big, loose sleeves (elbow length) and really striking embroidered panels that came down from the shoulders and part way down the front. I think it also had embroidered strips along the hem and sleeves.

Any ideas?

Definitely a similar vibe @capelmustard, but more minimal than what I can see on Etsy. The embroidered shoulder panels were the only thing that was decorative, and they were maybe about A5 size. The bits on the hem were fairly minimal too - might even have just been a strip of ribbon. My recollection of it is getting hazier though, the more I Google! Definitely going to add Ukrainian folk dress into my searches now though, thanks! X

That Rixo one is gorgeous, but way more embrodery than the dress. I think the one I saw was drawn in at the waist. She wasn't wearing a belt, but it didn't flow straight down. I think it was maybe a square neckline with the panels either side. The sleeves were really wide as well. Gah!! Really wish I'd just asked her! Thanks very much for all the suggestions so far. No joy though.

Thanks again all! That Rixo one is so close! I totally thought I'd see it pop up whilst I was scrolling through the East at Monsoon dresses, but sadly not. I feel like I've looked at so many similar dresses now I've forgotten what the original one looked like!
