Black tie wedding guest help

I'm going to a black tie wedding in November and struggling to find something I like or I think suits me, so was hoping to get some help with ideas!

• I'm a size 8-10 on top and 10-12 on bottom (fairly flat chested, small shoulders and pear shaped)
• It's a destination wedding so needs to be suitable for warm/ hot weather
• ideally full length
• colour wise I normally go for bright jewel colours, or burgundy, teal etc.
• hoping to spend less than £200

I did try the dress linked below, but didn't like the fit on my bottom half as it really drew attention to my hips.

Any help and ideas would be really appreciated!

If you want a dress, would it not be best to buy a size 12 and have the top half altered to fit? (Or is the size differentiation between your upper and lower halves not really noticeable in fitting?)

Where is the wedding? Ie climate + What sort of venue?

I was going to suggest separates - you could get a really stunning long and wide skirt with a sleek fitted top maybe a silk vest, or something cropped and jewelled.

It's the actual style of the dress that doesn't work with my body shape rather than the fit unfortunately (a bit too figure hugging on the bottom for me).

And it's an outdoor wedding held in Morocco. I hadn't thought about separates, I'll have a look. Thank you!
