Summer dresses with a waist at the waistline!

I’m trying to find some summer dresses but am struggling to find anything with the waist that actually sites at my waistline. Everything seems to be empire line. I have big boobs so empire ‘waistlines’ end up sitting half on my boobs! It’s really unflattering and very uncomfortable. Where can I get a dress with a waistline? I’m 5’6 size 16 (to accommodate boobs!). Help!

Wow, this is the first year ive felt like finally waists are in the right place! Where have you been looking so far, what sort of thing were you looking for?

Have you got a Peacocks near you? They have some nice ones in my local store right now.

M&S has some good ones this year.

I’ve tried M&S, Nobody’s Child, Scamp and Dude, Phase Eight and even Roman. None sat on my waist, all barely covered my boobs. All had to be returned.

I'm finding the opposite, dropped waist dresses everywhere which I can only imagine would look horrendous on my wide hips 😐

I also need a waist at my waist!

Have a look at Sherpa Adventure Gear. They have a number of dresses with actual waist, and some have drawstring waistbands so you can tailor to your shape. I also have large boobs and find their dresses really flattering
