Picked off my acrylic extensions 😭

Will I ever learn. I do this all the time snd regret it. Usually because I can't get an appointment in time for returning to work. Anyway, picked them off 2 weeks ago and they're so weak, bending and snapping off. Anyone ever found anything that actually helps? I never have. It usually takes 6 months for them to recover. I'll try anything.

I used to do that and so now I have given up getting biab or acrylics. My nails were wrecked!

Sounds strange but prenatal vitamins. Before I had my son my nails were weak and always breaking. After I had my son they actually grew so much and were really strong- I didn’t need to get extensions. I took vitamins all through my pregnancy.
Now I just do a gel manicure at home.

short term- get a at home gel kit. Your nails will have a chance to grow underneath.

Ooh I'll try that, I'll give anything a go! Wedding coming up in 2 weeks and I really don't want to get extensions again.

Biotin, jojoba oil and OPI Nail Envy sorted mine, took a while but my nails are now in great condition. Will never have gel/BIAB/acrylic or any kind of manicure that requires UV again...lost 3 toenails following the first and last gel manicure almost a year ago

CND RescueRxx is great for brittle or weak nails. Takes a few weeks but if you apply it regularly it really does help.
