How are you wearing your hair in this heat?

I’ve got my hair scraped back off my face in a low bun which is fine as I am around the house today but it doesn’t suit me (face shape, wispy bits, hairline.)

My hair is just below my shoulders and looks best loose but it’s too hot to wear it like that!

How are you wearing your hair at the moment?

Up and out of the way. Comfort is more important than what suits at the moment.

Messy bun. I wash it after work in the evening, put it in a bun and forget about it until the next evening, rinse and repeat.

Hideous bun. I don’t care.

Double Dutch braid, pull hair back and coil it and pin it, top knot split in 2 sections both coiled and pinned, twist braid ponytail wrapped and pinned, today is messy top knot with hair sticks. I like my hair off my face and neck when it's hot.

These are all pretty easy to do and don't take much time.

Wash it or wet it in the morning. Then up in bun or claw grip. Usually go to bed with wet hair too. Past the point of caring.

Sweaty stuck to the side of my face…. or plaited.

I've got a really short pixie cut, the hairdresser cut a good 2" off last week. And I'm so glad she did. I've got quite coarse grey hair and it's just too unmanageable to have any other way. I had it shoulder length until around 2 years ago and I've no idea why I'd never done this before, it's hugely liberating.

I usually have extensions. I’ve had them out for three weeks now and my hair has been pulled out of my face everyday. I’m almost dreading getting them back in on Tuesday as they’ll be adding 250 grams of dark brown hair to my head!

One of my offspring said my hair looked like Miss Trunchbull’s the other day. Up in a high messy bun or a clip.

Crop. Far cooler now.

I've got an inverted bob so front parts tucked behind my ears and nothing on my neck as it's shaved thank god. If I still feel hot I put it in to pigtails 😂

I cut it all off in Friday.
Went from bra strap length hair to a chin length bob.

Wearing a silk scarf as headband to keep hair off my neck and out of my face

I have short hair that I’m growing out so it’s in the awkward stage. I put it up in the most pathetic half up/half down style just so it’s out of my face. It’s so short I kinda look like a samurai with the little ponytail but that’s okay, I don’t really care. It’s too hot to care 🤣

Mainly up with a french clip or in a ponytail.

Simple pony tail as every other day.

Haaland style.

I just leave it down or put it in a ponytail depending on whether it's work or at home.

Bra strap length hair here

Up in a claw clip every. Damn. Day. And often in a loose ponytail overnight (tons of dark curly hair here, can't bear it on my neck atm)

I'm the same in this hot weather, can't stand having my long hair anyway but up to sleep! People don't understand it's like wearing a scarf in the sun! ☀️

Croydon facelift bun. I probably look hideous but I CANNOT BEAR my hair against my skin in this heat. I nearly cut in a fringe a few weeks ago and so glad I didn’t. It would’ve ended up stuck to my sweaty forehead.

My hair is very curly and I’ve just been either letting it air dry or bunging it up in a bun. I look like a menopausal alpaca.

Why are you putting them back in?

I only had them out for a minor medical procedure! I love having them really, it’s just getting used to having my hair down again. My hair is so fine and sad that I can’t do anything with it, but I definitely suit having my hair down as opposed to having it up.
