Is there any way you can tell from an M&S label what year an item of clothing was sold?

You can normally tell from the code on almost any product when it was made. Not sure about sold though.

Put the code in to AI and ask

@Tortephant Thanks. I have put it through Chat GPT which has guessed it as having been sold about 2009! It was an eBay mistake that I couldn’t return, and it will shortly be winging its way to the charity shop.
