I currently have a Radley Redchurch street, which I love, but is looking fairly knackered after three years. I'm on the hunt for a replacement, but struggling to find something that has:

  1. All around zip/flap top
  2. Inside pocket
  3. Water bottle holder
  4. Zip compartment on the back
  5. Thick straps
  6. Preferably not leather
  7. A decent brand

Help please!

Thirding Roka. Try a Finchley!

What about Antler? Perhaps more functional than stylish but it’s got the all-round zip you want and would be robust. In the sale too.

Be aware that the straps on the Roka bags are not very comfortable if wearing for a long period of time. The buckles dig in. They are practical apart from that.

I have this Antler one and it is amazing. So lightweight, holds tons, two side pockets (one for water bottle/travel mug, one for umbrella). Have had it for a year and it still looks great.

Another vote for he Antler one- it’s the best backpack I’ve ever had and I use it for travel as well.

Thanks so much, all. I don't think the ROKA straps will be comfortable, my bag is often quite heavy so I do think I need wider/padded straps.

I really like both the antler and the samsonite! Need to check measurements and look at them in a bit more detail, but they both look like really good options so thank you all!
