After swearing off gels, I’ve somehow got an appointment tomorrow for mani/pedi 😄

does anyone fancy sharing their lovely nails? I’m just having plain, no nail art and not matching hands and feet. I always seem to go for the same (generally neon pink) but maybe you can give me some inspiration

it depends on your lifestyle and your age i suppose!
my summer nails as a 50yo boring job person will look very different to someone younger in a more relaxed job.
i can only imagine the face of my boss if i rocked up with neon pink nails!! 😅

Following because I’m mid 50s and fancy a mani/pedi for my holiday too. I’ve never had gels are they worth the faff/expense?
I had been wondering what colours are popular this year. I have seen a lot of coral around in recent years.

You can ask them not to do gels- other nail options are available!

What colours suit you?

I’ve gone for burnt orange gels on hands and feet for holiday and love them. They look good with pretty much every colour and compliment a summer tan.

I’m having mine done tomorrow & fancy a pale yellow, lemon type colour!

I'm on holiday now and had gone for a creamy neutral...it's now gone a bit yellowy with suncream and swimming!

I was also having a break from gels but couldn't resist for hol. I've got blue on my toes but I do tend to be bolder with toes.

You can't beat a coral for holiday.

Im boring, I only ever have french on my fingers. They’re currently in desperate need of a redo if I’m feeling fancy I might chrome on top!
my toes on the other hand are always a bright colour. I prefer pinks and corals but saw a lovely bright, almost neon orange and now need to have that

I absolutely adore gels but can’t have them anymore. What do you think the best alternative polishes are?

I haven’t had gels for a year now on my hands and have been using Manicurist regular nail polish, would recommend

A Japanese manicure using the P-Shine kit from Amazon. Thoroughly recommend it.
