I really struggle to find dresses that suit me. I'm overweight, but not evenly spread. I have a very large belly / couple of spare tyres that stick out to the same distance from my body as my breasts. The rest of me is not that flabby, with the possible exception of my very upper thighs.

I've found a couple of shift dresses that suited me. Dresses work well if they can hang straight down from my breasts. I can't wear anything with a defined waist or a tie round the middle. Wraparound dresses are no good either.

Last summer I bought the dress below but have worn it out! White Stuff clothes usually suit me. I'm a 16 on top and 18 on the bottom.

Can anyone suggest where I could get something that might suit my figure?

Adding that I'm a SAHM so I don't need smart workwear.

I would suggest M&S, Simply Be, cotton traders, and Yours clothing. It sounds like you might prefer casual dresses possibly. I will take a look and see if you give more info and see suggestions.

I like White Stuff too. Did you see this dress?

Shorter, with a bit of a sleeve. Great print.

This one's lovely. I keep putting dresses in my basket - you're a bad influence!
