Botox/filler ladies PLEase help (pic inside)

What the frigging hell can/should I do about this around my mouth?

I particularly mean the downturned corners (which look darker) and like I’m permanently sad or pissed off.

Do those lines get filled and fix it? Is it Botox instead?

Botox. But be extremely picky about who you see. Pay for a doctor / dentist / nurse practitioner who is well versed in aesthetics. You get what you pay for.

You look lovely - see an expert though. Botox for the lower face works wonders but you need an expert - otherwise filler may be a better option. A

Cheek filler to raise everything and then a bit of filler in the nano-labial and marionette lines to eradicate completely, if necessary. Go to a good practitioner who will only do what’s necessary for a natural result.

I have 2 little drops of Botox just under my lip corners. Works wonders.

OP, seriously, you look fine. There is nothing wrong with your mouth. Your lips are naturally a lovely shape. Leave well alone.

You maybe can't but maybe OP can and a doctor would too.

Yes, I'm guessing she can because she's focussing on it and posting an image.
A doctor who can make money from it would no doubt see what could be "corrected" too.
She's asking for opinions, I am giving mine. I think there's nothing wrong with her mouth and lips. There will always be something women have to "correct" , and money to be made from it.

She wasn't asking for opinions whether you think she needs it doing, she wants opinions on the best way to do it which a few of us have given.

Well, I am sure that she is capable of reading the thread and filtering which advice she would want to take.

Some people are fine and happy to age naturally...others aren't. Like anything..some women wear make up, some don't. Some dress up in skirts and heels, others don't. Some dye their hair others are happy to be grey. I had a small amount of filler in my marionette lines...it was extremely quick and painless and im thrilled with the results. It was not a huge deal.

I think you look great, your lip shape is very nice and lower face looks very balanced/symmetrical.

Personally I would try a couple of other things first, such as dermaplaning (I find everything looks better when I do this) and gua sha, perhaps professional facial massage and definitely retinol, plus a little lightening concealer in the lines to bring them forward.

It’s easy to get fixated on one area of the face but as we age different bits become a ‘problem’, if you see what I mean - so if you fix one bit you then start looking critically at another bit.
