Hair products or treatments to restore shine after surgery and radiotherapy

I've had cancer and had surgery and radiotherapy. Luckily no chemo so I haven't lost my hair BUT my hair is so dull and lacklustre. I think just from the trauma to my body from everything.

I already take biotin and gummy supplements specifically for hair and nails but they're not helping.

Any recommendations for something to make my hair look shiny again? Even a spray for after styling. I have a chin length bob and it's always looked shiny and I hate the way it looks.

The wow products are lovely. Expensive but like you I’d had surgery and radio and wanted a boost. Root boost and the heat volume mousse - both heat activated so you have to blow dry.

I really like vitamino by L’Oréal shampoo and conditioner

I’ve also experimented with pure argan oil left in over night. Also boiled flax seed jelly (really easy!) which really made my hair shine!

my treatment put me into menopause and I do think that making sure I’m eating adequate protein has helped. Also ground flaxseed x 2 tbsp a day (optician said it helps dry eyes which I do think it has done.)

K18 seems to be the new Olaplex. Worth a look? Lots of hairdressers offer it as a service add on, maybe get a wash and dry with it added?

Otherwise, how about things like Moroccan Oil? I have dry curly hair due to perimenopause when I always had straight thick hair that needed zero intervention beyond a hairbrush and I find that really works well for me.
