The best bra for huge boobs.

As a 38J I am constantly looking for a great bra.
Due to illness I wear stretch crop sports bras at home (I don't want to scare the delivery guys) but for work and social occasions I need a proper bra. I bought a Rose Garrett off Facebook. It's comfortable and a great shape but for a bit of side boob. What's your recommendation?

I wouldn't suggest one bra but I would suggest an appointment at Bravissimo 🙂

DelilahBucket · 05/07/2026 21:20

Also recommend an appointment at Bravissimo.

Dorothyperky · 05/07/2026 21:23

I've got lots of bravissimo products but I am interested if anyone has found a comfortable large boob bra.

Are there any bra specialty shops in your area? Sometimes there are specialty shops, often catering to women who've had mastectomies, and they may carry very different lines.

Dorothyperky · 05/07/2026 21:33

Yes there are two. Each fifteen miles from me. I'm interested in brands that people recommend. Panache I wear. Miss Mary doesn't go big enough in the cup. Marks give me double boob

I'm not as large as you but I do wear a G cup and I like the panache 365 bra - it's just a very simple design and feels like I get a smooth shape without lumps and bumps from the straps

GU24Mum · 05/07/2026 21:43

Elomi are good. I’ve swapped to them from Fantasie over the past year. They do larger sizes and are a good shape.

allthewayaround · 05/07/2026 21:44

I’ve got big boobs and for comfort some of the full bust ones from boody are amazing

walkingmyway · 05/07/2026 21:45

I wear Polish bras, mostly Ewa Michalak
elomi Matilda is also good

BratPitt · 05/07/2026 21:54

Elomi Cate is the best I've found, although Matilda is a better fit if your boobs are very close set. Less supportive than the Cate though.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 06/07/2026 09:10

Fantasie SmoothEase and Fantasie Rebecca. Both go up to 40 or 42 GG..

Lifejigsaw · 06/07/2026 09:57

I think Bravissimo own brand are the best, or Fantasie. I find Panache run small on the band. I'm a 32J and find those best.

OP if you have sideboob, that suggests your cup isn't big enough. I prefer a band with a 'side sling' to help with that.

DivaDroid08 · 06/07/2026 09:58

I like Adela Hera from BraStop - I’m a 38HH

Freddobar · 06/07/2026 09:59

Elomi care. I'm a 38hh and this is the only bra that gives me support and a good lift.

Magpiecomplex · 06/07/2026 10:00

I find Panache incredibly uncomfortable (36JJ) because the wires sit in the wrong place on me, no matter how I adjust them. Elomi aren't bad but give me a very matronly bosom. Bravissimo own brand are pretty good, also Curvy Kate.

ToadRage · 06/07/2026 10:05

I am also a 38J and have tried different bras, but i always go back to Bravissimo Satine. Its the most comfortable, looks nice, gives a nice shape. I only ever had one panche bra and it was so painful I found the same with Curvy Kate.

Potooooooooes · 06/07/2026 10:06

Sculptress Bliss by Panache is my fave atm. The shape and lift is great.

I wouldn't suggest one bra but I would suggest an appointment at Bravissimo 🙂

Do this. I was a 38HH after breastfeeding two babies and was living in maternity and soft sports bras. I went and had a proper fitting and bought two basic underwired bras and the difference was insane. There was no way I could have managed with supermarket bras in a close enough size. I still can't. Also, getting a bra that fit immediately took about a stone off of how I looked as it opened up my waistline again.

CleanSkin · 06/07/2026 10:20

It’s a bit expensive I’ll admit, but an appointment at Rigby & Peller changed my life!
Perfect fitting bras for my large & not-entirely-symmetrical boobs, amazingly measured only by eye.
They have some really lovely ones & all are pretty robust Grin
(You’ll need to make an appointment.)

Dorothyperky · 06/07/2026 10:36

Thanks for all the suggestions.
I use Rigby and Pellar from time to time.
The Polish lady is amazing, thank you.

There are so many ladies with big boobs trying to dress well at the moment I thought it useful to have a thread for bras.

I did pick up two Marks bras (Bella rose) yesterday. I haven't tried them on yet.

M and S do a couple. Best to ask them. This one is good, though: https://www.marksandspencer.com/embrace-wired-extra-support-bra-f-j/p/clp60451403?intid=mobile_app_pdp_share&color=Black

Goddess bras are far and away the best I’ve found for a very similar size. Great shape and comfort. Get them from amplebosom.com

SkirlingGirl · Yesterday 00:33

I like a Bravissimo Millie. Very natural looking.

tiredofworking · Yesterday 08:20

I find Freya bras are the best fit. Comfortable to wear. Bravissimo sell many of the Freya bras. There’s a factory shop where you can buy them cheaply, Northampton way if you can get there.

LividSun · Yesterday 13:41

I'm in the region of 34JJ and will never wear underwires again.

Molke Original.
