I will be attending a wedding - evening reception October in Scotland. So although not outdoors may be a bit chilly. I so rarely buy new clothes so I will enjoying buying some with a view to wear afterwards.
I am thinking "posh hippie" if that even is a thing ! I am looking for layers in rich colours. I have seen some light weight velvet duster coats which I want to wear all evening, but not sure what to wear underneath. I was thinking maybe a silk trouser suit but a dress may be good too. I would like some fine detail, maybe around the chest area, maybe embroidery or a tiny bit of bling. I love wearing feathers in my hair so that's the vibe. Coat wise I would like a rich dark blue, chocolate, emerald .burnt sierra . Something dark and sumptious. I can see the outfil in my mind's eye, but haven't seen anything that would fit the bill.
