Workwear ideas for a senior office role with some family contact

I'm starting a new job in a few weeks. I have been working at home for the last couple of years and get away completely with having a selection of smart tops.

New job is a 2-3 days pw week in the office.

It's a senior leadership role but I will have contact with vulnerable families at times and need to be a bit more approachable than a suit etc.

I'm 5"4' and a size 16. I'm 45. Apple shaped 🙄I don't want overly high fashion but I'm not ready for sensible flowery tops etc.

Can you please hit me with some suggestions....
Thank you in advance!!

I really like her style.
I'm showing my age now... But how do you find fashion influencers?

I usually google search what I'm after e.g. 'size 6, petite, UK fashion influencer, 40s' and then go through the ones I'm most drawn to. A 'workwear capsule wardrobe' search might be worth doing too.

I like ltk website as the clothes are set out clearly.

I'm 5"3 and find Arket great for basics.

I just bought some "woven pleated culottes" from M&S and think they tick your boxes.
