Casual evening out

Hi, I’m going out for drinks next weekend with a friend , looking at the forecast it’s going to be hot weather. What would you wear for a casual evening at the pub please ?

Linen shirt dress if it’s really hot, balloon jeans and a nice top if not.

Thankyou for your recommendation I don’t do well with heat and I think we’re having another heatwave next week
